Job Description: Social Media Internship at Origins
Origins is excited to offer a paid Social Media Internship position to individuals who are passionate about creating visually captivating content and exploring the world of social media marketing. This opportunity is ideal for someone with little to no prior experience who is eager to learn and develop their skills in the realm of digital marketing and content creation.
Position: Social Media Internship Starting Date: August 10th Duration: 3-5 hours per week
Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Design visually appealing and engaging social media graphics using Canva to support our brand's online presence across various platforms. A majority of design work will be focused on Story creation for Instagram and Email.
Social Media Management: Down the road there is the potential opportunity to assist in scheduling and publishing social media posts, ensuring consistency and adherence to the brand's tone and style guidelines.
Trend Research: Stay up-to-date with social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to identify new opportunities for growth and engagement.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall brand strategies and campaigns. There will be bi-weekly meetings to answer your questions, provide guidance and make sure that you are growing in the position.
Qualifications:
No experience required; this internship is open to enthusiastic beginners.
Must have a strong willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
Proficiency in Canva (or willingness to learn) to create eye-catching graphics and content.
A keen eye for design and detail, with a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing content.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.).
Highly organized and able to manage time effectively.
Creatively minded and eager to contribute fresh ideas to our social media initiatives.
